All workshops are beginners friendly, unless stated otherwise.  Prices include all materials as well as refreshments.  Payment is required at time of booking either by visiting The Art Room, phoning Emma on 07834228054, or emailing and asking for the details to perform a transfer.

Needlefelting with Kristine Rodger

If you’re looking to try something new in 2019 why not come along to our Needle Felting class? It’s a fun and therapeutic hobby to help fight off those winter blues! You will learn how to make a needle felted brooch and picture using carded wool and a barbed needle. £25 class includes all materials required, a needle felting starter kit and refreshments!

Beginners Furniture Painting with Mala Interiors

Kirstenwill introduce you to the Frenchic furniture paint range and take you through the step by step process of upcycling furniture. Please bring a small piece of furniture to work your magic
on! Participants will also receive sample paint to take away as well as a discount if purchasing more.


Beginners Crochet workshop with Sue Hall            

Saturday 2nd March

2 - 4pm.


This workshop is perfect for complete beginners looking to learn basic stitches, how to read patterns and charts, and how to "talk
crochet". If there’s time, you 
might also be able to make a
small gift bag or a coaster too... This class is an
introduction to this adaptable, 
flexible skill and you’ll receive a starter pack as well as various handouts, so you can carry on at
home in your own time.






Fused Glass Spring Villages

Workshop with Lorrie Kyle

Come and enjoy making your own fused glass panel to adorn your   

windowsill. All equipment and glass supplied, no experience necessary

as learning to cut the glass is half the fun!!!

All creations will be fired and ready for collection a week after the class







Wet felting with Fiona Moir

Fiona will demonstrate how she works when wet felting and guide you through the process of creating your own piece of felt art using a range of wools and silks. This is a beautifully vibrant approach to making images and is an exciting alternative from the more common
use of pencils, pastels and paint

Die cutting workshop with Kristine Rodger

In this class you will get the opportunity 

to try die cutting for yourselves and I will demonstrate how to use the tools as well as giving some top tips on how to create personalised cards. 

During the 2 hours you will have the option to make cards, bunting and a framed picture. 

Included in the cost of this class is your very own personalised crafty goodie bag! 

This contains 5 cards, 5 envelopes, a small frame and a wee bag of card embellishments eg. ribbons, buttons and sparkles!!
